Imo State University’s administration would like to inform the public—particularly prospective students—that the IMSU post-UTME form for the 2024-2025 academic year is now available. This form is available to all candidates who meet the entrance requirements, including the cut-off point.
The Imo State University 2025/2026 Admission Screening Exercise (Regular Students) is open to candidates seeking admission via UTME (100 level) or DIRECT Entry, and applications from qualified persons are being accepted. Imo State University demands completion of the 2025 entry screening process.

IMSU UTME application requirements
Before applying, candidates are encouraged to thoroughly read the admission requirements. In order to improve your chances of being added to IMSU’s admissions list, you must fulfill these prerequisites. You must meet the standards listed below; please review them.
- UTME Score: You need a minimum score of 140 in your JAMB UTME to apply.
- O’Level Results: You should have at least five credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English and Math. You can use results from no more than two sittings.
- Institution First Choice: Choose IMSU as your first choice during your UTME. If you choose another school, change to IMSU on the JAMB portal before you apply.
- Age: You must be at least 16 years old.
- Program-Specific Requirements: Some courses ask for specific subjects. For example, agriculture may need credit passes in Chemistry, Biology or Physics.
